Divine Anger

Woman,

Your divine anger is beautiful.

I see you spitting like Kali-Ma

Your blood running with adrenaline

And fury.

I see you wielding your swords

To protect those who need you

And I see your strength.

Shaking and sweating

Possessed of the world's most furious

Most resolute

No.

We Can Choose

We can choose

To begin to come back into our bodies

We can choose

To let the flower of our being

Open to the sun.

Warmth spreading

Through sacred places

Like women did

Long ago.

Deep down you remember

Your pleasure is

The jewel

In the lotus

That they all search for.

Om mani padme hum.

Why I Love This Work

What do I love about this work?

I love that each placenta has it's own energy. I love that a headstrong Scorpio boy makes his presence known through his placenta, that a mother's delicate and calm nature can be felt through the organ her body created to sustain her baby.

Sometimes I have to sit down, sometimes I work with a grin on my face. I always sing.

I'm a strong believer in speaking about what you love. What I love is working under the light of the same moon the baby was born under. I love being the one in the neighbourhood doing women's work for the new mother.

Making placenta remedies is like tapping into something ancient and wise.

I remember as I drove away from my training 3 years ago full of excitement and trepidation. I had done the course more out of curiosity than anything else and I was blown away.

I felt like I had left with more questions than answers. The main question in my mind - am I fit for this sacred role?

What qualities would you look for in somebody working with your placenta? ❤
