Today I'm feeling a lot of stuck stomach and solar plexus energy which can be linked to body and sexual trauma.
This can be especially poignant with women who have to deal with the polarised patriarchal view of themselves - madonna or whore, virgin or slut, good girl or bad girl.
Forgive yourself if you have unconsciously played along to survive. The vastness and richness of women's nature and inner life cannot be comprehended by a world who is afraid of it.
This isolation is making us face deep and uncomfortable blockages and negative self-beliefs, now we have nowhere to hide, only able to see our own reflection.
I've got the 3 of cups and the 6 of wands today... the 6 of wands being a rising card, the butterfly so often a symbol of recovery from trauma and transformation. It is so interesting that the cups card is full of that yellowy orange belly and solar plexus energy and speaks of hope and a new dawn. You are not who they said you were. You have the power to write your own story.
Some good crystals today would be carnelian or orange calcite to help get that energy moving again. You can meditate and send love to those areas, as you breathe imagining those yellow and orange wheels turning and releasing. Dancing also really helps, my personal favourite is the Lionheart album by Kate Bush.

Moon Cycles
Do you know that quite often Women's cycles follow the moon?
There are two distinct patterns that women can emulate as they move through the two archetypes at different stages in their life.
❤ Mother / White Moon ❤
The first cycle pattern is the Mother cycle. This is characterised by women who ovulate with the full moon and bleed with the new moon. Those in the mother cycle are in touch with their nurturing, growing side and the full moon can assist with conception if that is what the woman wishes. The Mother is feminine, flowing, radiant, pouring out her energy to nourish the earth. The new moon brings introspection and rest. Being a Mother cycle woman does not necessarily mean that you are a mother, but that you are creating things, looking after important people or animals.

The second cycle pattern is the Wise Woman cycle. This is characterised by women who ovulate with the new moon and bleed with the full moon. Those in the wise woman cycle are involved in their spiritual pursuits and inner growth. She may be a midwife or medicine woman - the idea being as women frequently give birth with the full moon she is bleeding, harnessing the power of her cycle to really be "with woman" at this time. Your creative time is in the dark of the moon as you make magic. Wise women are focussed on their journey and learning and using their gifts to support other women.

Card reading 31/03/2020
Today's reading... I laughed when shuffling the cards as the card that "jumped" at me was The Wheel Of Fortune which we had last time. This tells me this energy is still very much prominent, the state of flux, the unknown, the world in motion, no answers revealed as yet. The son of Wands is a hugely energetic card, to do with impulsivity, almost recklessness. I can sense the frustration of this card today as the collective are full of this thwarted energy and the desire to be doing rather than waiting. You are not alone. Try to alleviate those feelings with grounding meditation, incense burning and writing down your plans for when this is over so you can hit the ground running.
