I found this gem while I was going through old photos.

Me heavily pregnant with my second child. The "big baby" I needed a gestational diabetes test and growth scan for.. I refused both.. and joyously freebirthed her weighing just 7lb10.

It still amazes me to think if I hadn't been so informed I would have probably been pushed into inducing labour. I knew she was just fine.

What does it mean to be a powerful woman?

This was the topic drawn for our next women's circle the other night and I've been thinking about it all yesterday.

I used to think of power in a toxic way, the toxic masculine demanding power and the toxic feminine manipulating to get power. This meant that as I journeyed through trauma I vowed to myself never to be vulnerable again, never to give away my power again.

But true aligned feminine power is nothing like what we have been led to believe. It is intuitive, dynamic, collaborative power.

I share so much about my thoughts and feelings on being a woman, every time I feel nervous. My words are my power and I worry giving them away freely will diminish me in some way. Like I will have nothing left. But that is not the case. I let them go like birds to spread their song and then more birds land on my shoulders. I see everywhere women waking up to their true nature.

As we rise, so are others inspired to rise.

Power is remembering as women we are stronger together than apart. I want every woman to feel that intrinsic power that comes from living in their truth, from their intuitive womb space, and challenging themselves to soften over and over.
